Respites occur on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month (excluding holiday weekends) from September to April.

Our respites run about 150 people strong, including children and adults with special needs, their siblings, and our volunteers.

At respite, your child (or children) will be placed with one-on-one buddies for the duration of the evening. All of our volunteers are trained to care for, understand, and support your child. Your child has the opportunity to play, make crafts, ride our golf cart, meet new friends, learn a bible lesson, and listen to/make music.

Dinner is provided as part of respite and is served around 5:30 PM. We understand dinner may be a challenge. Please discuss food needs such as restrictions, aversions, and feeding tubes, and we will work with you to cater to your child’s needs.

Drop off is 4:30 PM and pick up is 7:30 PM.

All respites take place at Grace Church 1142 W Main Street, Ashland OH.
