In the summer of 2025, our ministry began our adult program. We started out very small, but we have continued to expand and add more fun events to the calendar.

The idea for the adult program began after hearing that many of our young adults did not find respite a good fit for them. They wanted a calmer, structured environment where they could meet new friends and talk about their interests.

Our adult program is different from respite in several ways. We recognize that many of our adults have higher levels of independence, so we do not provide 1:1 volunteers. Instead, we have a 3:1 ratio. Our volunteers are there to offer assistance in times of need and facilitate conversation.
